Root your phone and install a GPS spoofer then move to the /system/apps. Still pretty easy.
Apparently it's a real problem in Europe right now, because spoofing bots have completely taken over, and are consuming all of the XM.

He was proving a point. Also if you knew how the game works you would see that when you place resonators down they are relative to where you are standing according to the portal. To get all the resonators in the center he would have to be standing/spoofing right in the center of the portal.
... and yet you spent over eight minutes of your life watching it... then wasted another few typing up your comment? I suggest you should search relevant things according to your tastes and control your comments to them.

This game doesn't make sense anyway. Are we suppose the change the human mind thinking of mankind or capturing a bunch of portals?
Instead of complaining... Defend. You were there. Do something about it. Prove you are a better player and not bully him out of the game. How many spoofers are there? BTW, you being on top of the portal doesn't mean jack crap. 30-35 meters radius. You weren't on top of it facing outward from a higher vantage point. Sitting in your car does nothing for your case.

GPS spoofing is terribly easy to do. I can't think of a simple way to prevent it, either, as you're relying on the client to report it's location. It's a shame people do this kind of thing in any game. If you're abusing mechanics instead of actually playing, what's the point??
GPS spoofing is so wrong and dishonest to the game, than again so is having 2 accounts... Gotcha ;-)

how do you know he isint hiding just outside of reach, not everyone pulls right up and goes to work, i did a couple portals from behind a fence ninja style... not saying there is int something fishy here but at least keep that in mind! id hate to get banned because i was ninja deploying! , then there is the other side where I pull up, another car pulls up and we have it out stareing at each other... hate those times >.<

that's no driver been doing it for a long time but I can tell you that there are no professional drivers driving around at 3am for work
